What This Calculator Does
The Project Deadline Calculator computes a project's deadline based on a start date and the number of working days required. It skips weekends automatically and shows the deadline date, the total calendar span, and the equivalent in weeks.
How the Calculation Works
Enter the project start date and the number of working days needed. The calculator moves forward from the start date, counting only weekdays (Monday-Friday) and skipping weekends. The resulting date is the project deadline. The tool also shows the total calendar span (including weekends) and the number of weeks, giving you a full picture of the timeline.
Example Scenario
A software team estimates a feature will take 15 working days to build, starting Monday, July 6, 2026. Entering July 6 and 15 working days produces Friday, July 24, 2026 โ the projected completion date โ with a total calendar span of 19 days (about 3 weeks).
